Unusual working model restoration complete

The restoration has been completed on our Animated Amusements working model called “The Mummy’s Tomb” manufactured in the early 1970’s and came into our collection in July and went into our workshops in early September for a light restoration, the main changes were to the sound system that unfortunately was no longer working and requires the old style 8 track cassette system so with the help of Martin Leybourne the expert in vintage amusement machine sound and control equipment. The Mummy’s Tomb sound has now been re recorded on to a digital system bring the model back to top working condition, every care is taken to leave the original sound equipment in place and complete.
The Mummy’s Tomb now joins the other Animated Amusements working model The Chamber of Horrors, we have in the collection which also features the sound technology of Martin Leybourne and is currently on display at our Great Yarmouth Arcade.
It is not decided yet which site the Mummy’s Tomb will go on display at, this leaves with just the last two remaining Animated Amusement models to find, these being
The Spookets and Dracula, if you have either of the models and would like to sell them please contact us.
